A magnificent record of Trondheim Cathedral, now called Nidaros Cathedral , begun in 1070 and the most important Cathedral in Scandinavia. Munch was a prolific historian of Norway, but this book is not listed among his works on Wikipedia. It is an elephant folio, 23 inches (59 cm) tall in the original cloth with a gilt emblem - Trondheim Domkirke - on the front board. New, dark brown goatskin spine and corners. A bit of foxing on some plates. Forty eight pages of test in two columns, one Norwegian and one English. Scarce, with no other copies on the internet at this writing.
