The entire issue of this April 1947 illustrated art magazine is devoted to Connecticut painter, with a folding geneaological chart, and critical review of the portraits and landscapes, most reproduced here in photos, attributed to Chandler. His sister was married to Col. Ebenezer Crafts, the founder of Craftsbury, Vermont. A portrait of her with her two daughters, and a second of the Colonel and his son, is included herein. A very scarce publication, and still the definitive study of Chandler.
