The humorous was a new direction for popular, inexpensive illustrations. This copy is in the original green , blindstamped cloth, with a new cloth spine and the old backstrip laid down. Frontispiece, an extra title illustrated with The Creditor, and 30 other full page woodcut sketches. Pages 370 plus 2 pages publisher ads. Inside, very clean and tight with new endpapers. The plates came from a different paper stock and are some browned, whereas the text block is not. Protected in a clear, mylar dustjacket.
